PLEASE NOTE:
The FOLIATEC.com Universal 2C
Spray Paint is a temperature,
chemical and weather-resistant 2-
component paint. It is suitable for
spraying on steel, aluminium and
galvanised substrates. Protect product
from frost. Tightly sealed containers
can be stored for three years in a cool,
dry place. Container can be stored for 3
years if well closed in cool, dry rooms.
Use at your own risk. FOLIATEC assumes
no liability if these instructions are disregarded.
GENERAL INSTRUCTIONS:
Processing temperature between 10 °C
and 20 °C at max. 80% relative humidity. Do not use in direct sunlight. Ensure
proper ventilation during processing and
wear respiratory protection. Do not spray
on hot surfaces. Do not use aggressive
cleaning products or the paint could be
damaged. Cover any parts that you do not
want to spray, as well as the surrounding
area, to protect them from spray mist.
The surface must be clean, dry and free
of grease.
1 Preparation:
Sand the surface.
2 Cleaning:
Clean and dry the surface to be sprayed,
then degrease using FOLIATEC.com
Carbody Spray Film pre-cleaner
(item no. 79934).
Our Universal 2C Spray Paint
utilises an innovative system: the
hardening agent is already in the
can!
Processing time: 5 - 6 hours/

3 Preparation of the 2C spray
can:
Step 1: Shake can well before use.
Remove the push button from the cap
directly before spraying.
Step 2: Turn the can 180° and attach
the push button to the pin on the base
of the can.
Step 3: Place the can with the cap upside down on a firm surface. With the ball
of your hand, press the push button as
far as it will go. Re-shake can well after
activating (3 minutes).
4 Application:
Apply the Universal 2C Spray Paint
in 2 or 3 coats, spraying from a distance
of around 25cm. Drying time between
each coat: 5 minutes.
For extended breaks between spraying,
turn the spray can upside down and spray
until the nozzle is empty; this will prevent
the paint from drying in the nozzle head.
5 Hardening:
The Universal 2C Spray Paint is dry
enough to touch after 3 to 4 hours, and
must dry for a total of approximately 24
hours at 20 °C. The paint will achieve its
final hardness after around 7 days.
When properly applied, our product has
the following properties after hardening:
n Excellent resistance to all kinds of
climatic influences
n Temperature resistant at constant
temperatures of up to approximately
180 °C
n Chemical, corrosion and oil resistant
n Good gloss retention
n High resistance to wear
n High degree of hardness
Please note: Forced drying (with
a heat gun, UV lamp, etc.) must
not be used on the Universal 2C
